A glamorous WAG who was warned she had to move to a «boring» Australian town to be with her star boyfriend is leaving him after just seven months because she can’t live there.

Footy’s hottest new WAG Chelsea Becirevic left the country and her star boyfriend because she couldn’t stand life in Adelaide after moving there to be with him seven months ago.

The marketer and influencer told more than 65,000 social media followers she was «thrilled for a change» when she followed her husband Ivan Soldo to the City of Churches last November when he was traded from Richmond to Port Adelaide.

However, in an Instagram post on Thursday where she announced she was moving to Dubai to start a new life working for the airline, she proved the novelty of life in ‘Radelaide’ has well and truly paid off.

In response to questions from her followers, the 23-year-old said she had “always wanted to work for Emirates, live in Dubai and travel the world. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do.’

Chelsea Becirevic wasn’t 100 per cent sure how she would cope with life in Adelaide when she moved there with her netball boyfriend last November.

Asked if he was taking anyone with him, Becirevic said: “I’m doing it solo. I’ve never moved anywhere myself so it will be good to get some independence.

“I’ve always wanted to move overseas so I think this will be an exciting new chapter for me.

While stressing that she and Soldo have no problems, she revealed: “He had to move to Adelaide for his career and it was a struggle for me.

When a follower asked how Soldo was taking the news, Becirevic showed her sense of humor by posting a photo of him facing the corner of an elevator with his hands hanging by his sides, accompanied by the words «surprisingly he’s taking it really well.»

She also wrote that they plan to keep their relationship «long distance for a while» and have him travel with her in the off-season, but also admitted they will struggle with his inability to visit her before Porto’s campaign ends later this year. .

Becirevic’s concerns for Adelaide were foreshadowed when the biomedical student first announced the move last November, shortly after she turned heads and declared herself one of Australia’s hottest WAGs when she and Soldo attended Richmond’s Best and Fairest Awards.

«Tbh (to be honest) I can’t say I ever thought I would ever move to Adelaide,» she wrote.

“I’ve never been to Adelaide before so I don’t really know what to expect… and I hear so many mixed reviews.

Becirević’s move to South Australia was the subject of a war between two high-profile journalists last October.

Melbourne-based Jackie Epstein questioned whether she would be able to «settle for the ‘low-energy lifestyle'» of the state capital, while Adelaide-based Kara Jung responded by accusing her rival of writing a «little joke» and telling the city’s residents to «roll their eyes and they smiled at the poor misconception».
