Austin Butler and Barry Keoghan headline Masters of the Air screening in New York… just hours before WWII series premieres on Apple TV+

With just hours to go until the debut of their highly anticipated Masters of the Air series, stars Austin Butler, Barry Keoghan, Callum Turner and Nate Mann have done some last-minute promo work.

Butler, 32, Keoghan, 31, Turner, 33, and Mann all arrived at the Tribeca screening room for the event Thursday night.

The show has garnered rave reviews from critics, ahead of the nine-episode series’ worldwide debut on Friday, January 26.

Butler opted for a black leather jacket over a black shirt for the event as he was seen signing autographs for many fans.

The Elvis Oscar nominee was sporting an early stage beard when he arrived at the event.

The show has earned rave reviews from critics ahead of the nine-episode series’ worldwide debut on Friday 26 October.

He completed his look with black trousers and matching black boots before heading into the Tribeca screening room.

Keoghan chose a blue shirt under a black coat with a fur collar and gold chains hung around his neck.

He completed his look with black pants and pristine white Dolce & Gabbana sneakers, which retail for $695.

Turner opted for a more formal look, dressed in a classic black suit for the evening event with his colleagues.

Mann chose a black and yellow striped shirt under a black jacket, black trousers and shiny black dress shoes.

Masters of the Air is considered a companion series to two iconic World War II shows – Band of Brothers and The Pacific – with all three produced by Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman.

Masters of the Air is based on the book of the same name by Donald L. Miller and follows members of the 100th Bomb Group, nicknamed the ‘Bloody Hundred’.

The group carried out «dangerous raids on Nazi Germany», dealing with «freezing conditions, lack of oxygen and the sheer horror of combat at 25,000 feet in the air».

The series also stars Anthony Boyle, Rafferty Law, Josiah Cross, Branden Cook and Ncuti Gatwa.

Masters of Air was adapted for the small screen by creator John Orloff, who is executive producing with Spielberg, Hanks and Goetzman.

Amblin Television’s Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey serve as co-executive producers alongside Playtone’s Steven Shareshian.
