Australian model Ashley Hart does unusual ‘interpretive mother’ dance with her baby Priest strapped to her chest: ‘Magic through my body’

Australian model Ashley Hart welcomed a baby boy with partner Marc Utah in December.

And on Wednesday, the 35-year-old took to Instagram to share an interpretive dance of motherhood with her followers.

Ashley explained that rhythm dancing was the first time since giving birth that she decided to ‘move again’.

She also wrote an emotional letter dedicated to her exercise coach Kate Shele in the caption.

«Today was the first time since giving birth that I chose to be moved again… right here in the same backyard, in the same playlist from my beloved teacher @therealkatshela,» she wrote.

«What a cure (as Kate so beautifully expresses in this audio) to turn to the body to see how I really feel…all the answers really seem to reside here.»

“The power of reflection, of true connection. A «house» for processing and healing. This practice of embodiment ingrains the lessons and allows the spaciousness to listen to the wisdom learned over and over again,” Hart continued.

“I’m here today with my beautiful baby boy, my feet on the ground, on the ground. Holding onto the trees, looking at the sky… I can feel it all. Grace, beauty, triumph… I hear the whisper of my heart, the strength of my body, the reminder of my trust and above all the heavenly support.”

“Today I not only went back to my birth but also my pregnancy… dancing at @the360emergence workshop in Australia, 6 months pregnant. Even there I felt ungrounded and shaky… uncertain, forgetful.

“Until I danced, to the middle, back to zero. As I dance, I return home, again and again. Thank you for being one of my greatest guides and teachers. You weave your medicine and magic through my body even though they are oceans apart,” she finished.

She shared a series of snaps capturing moments from her home birth, where the Australian-born model warmly welcomed her baby in the bathtub.

She wrote in the caption, “When no words seem to measure up to the magic that would honor your welcome and simply say your name or show your beautiful little face, you still feel so raw in intimacy.

“I’ll keep your arrival announcement simple and let your pure divinity speak for itself.

She went on to reveal the newborn’s unusual name: ‘Welcome «Priest Hart Chavir» to the world.’
