Bluey’s World exhibition to open in Brisbane after tragic pop-up moved children to tears in Las Vegas

Tickets for the highly anticipated Bluey’s World show in Brisbane go on sale this week.

Fans will be able to purchase a general admission ticket for the immersive experience from 2pm on Tuesday ahead of its grand opening on November 7. Prices start at $49.90.

The world’s first Bluey attraction will give fans of the hit Australian children’s show a life-size tour of the homes and meet some of the show’s beloved characters.

Located in the upscale suburb of Hamilton, it will run until April 27, 2025 and is expected to pump millions of dollars into the economy.

The «immersive» experience will last almost two hours.

It is initially thought to be just a pop-up attraction that will remain until Easter 2025, but depending on how popular it is, a more permanent attraction may be built.

“Take Bluey, Bing, Mom and Dad on a whole new immersive journey in their beloved home, backyard and beyond. Explore your favorite rooms, play interactive games and keep your eyes peeled for surprises… maybe even a Longdog or two,” the organizer said in a statement.

It comes after a Las Vegas restaurant apologized after a Bluey-themed event went horribly wrong – ruining the day for parents and kids alike.

But the operation went south when about 3,000 people responded to the restaurant’s Facebook event, and staff were completely overwhelmed when hundreds of parents and children lined up down the block to meet Bluey.

Much to the disappointment of these guests, when they got to the front of the line, they were greeted by «a guy in a onesie,» as one disappointed customer described.

Further, the face painting was allegedly done poorly by untrained cafeteria staff and the treats for the kids were gone before everyone got inside.

Some parents also complained about the cleanliness of the restaurant and the apparent disinterest of the guy in the Bluey costume for the children.

Outraged customers flooded the restaurant’s Facebook page with negative reviews of the event.
