The semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent got off to a dramatic start when Duncan Murray kicked off the concert on Wednesday night.

The Canadian pogoist returned to the stage with his updated act after first wowing the judges when he jumped hosts Ant and Dec during his audition.

However, things didn’t quite go to plan for the student as fans went berserk on Twitter before the show even started.

Viewers took to social media to be furious that the next act on the UK talent show is not from the UK as Duncan is actually Canadian.

And things went from bad to worse after his friend, who he had recruited for the show, collapsed mid-reflection and was left on stage clapping awkwardly as Duncan continued to bounce around.

While Duncan’s performance began outside with the star poking over cars in a pre-recorded section.

He then entered the Eventim Apollo where he joined two of his pogo buddies on stage.

However, during the dramatic flip, one of his friends fell off the stick and was left clumsily clapping to the music as he tried to cover up his mistake.
