Christian Bale and 10-year-old son Joseph celebrate Mother’s Day with Sibi Blazic during the day in New York

Christian Bale took a break from filming his new movie The Bride to celebrate Mother’s Day with his wife Sibi Blazic.

The fifty-year-old actor, who tied the knot with Blažice in 2000, was spotted on Sunday with his fifty-four-year-old wife and their ten-year-old son Joseph.

The Oscar-winning actor has been spotted filming The Bride in New York since March, and earlier this month he was spotted kissing co-star Jessie Buckley on set.

Bale stepped out wearing a black hoodie over his bald head, which he shaved for the film.

He also rocked navy blue pants and gray trainers as he was seen carrying some flowers for his wife.

Bale and Blazic first met on the set of the 1994 film Little Women, in which Bale starred opposite Winona Ryder, for whom Blazic worked as her personal assistant.

They tied the knot in 2000 and have two children, Emmeline, 19, and Joseph, 10, who live in Los Angeles.

Bale leads a diverse cast in director Maggie Gyllenhaal’s second film, The Bride, which is being shot in New York.

The film is inspired by the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein, which was inspired by Frankenstein creator Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.

The story takes place in 1935 in Chicago, when Dr. Frankenstein enlisted the help of Dr. Euphronia to create a companion for Frankenstein’s monster (Bale).
