Embarrassing moment, serial prankster’s prank backfires spectacularly after impersonating a statue to scare shoppers in Adelaide

Wild footage captured the moment a serial prankster’s prank backfired spectacularly after he was kicked in the head while pretending to be a statue.

The Aussie prankster, known online as Shah Vlog, was disguised as a statue while sitting on a bench at Rundle Mall in Adelaide, South Australia.

Shah Vlog has gained a cult following on social media for his pranks in which he scares unsuspecting adults and children by impersonating either a statue or a bush.

However, his prank with the statue went horribly wrong when a passer-by accidentally walked up to him and kicked him in the head.

The prankster shared a compilation video on TikTok on Wednesday showing the reactions of shoppers at Rundle Mall, including an instantly regretful man.

The video showed the man approaching the prankster with a phone in one hand and a bag of food in the other before leaning back and kicking him in the head.

The man immediately regretted his actions after discovering that the statue was actually a human.

Shah Vlog stood up and approached the man, who immediately started apologizing for kicking him.

‘Oh ***, oh ***, I thought you were a statue. I’m so sorry. I’m very sorry,» said the man.

Social media users criticized the man for his actions, with many claiming that kicking public property was wrong.

«It’s a statue too, you don’t have the right to kick it,» remarked one.

“But why would you even do that? Destroying property just for fun? Best believe he never did it again,” added the other.

“But why are you an adult and kicking a statue like you’re 10 years old? Please make sense. Smh,” said a third person.

A fourth added: ‘Great that he was so apologetic but honestly why would you even do that? People have no respect for anything.»

Some claimed the man was aware the statue was a person and filmed himself kicking it in the head.

«He knew that sob, look at his smile before he kicks,» commented one.

«He definitely knew. Mans had his camera ready,” wrote another.

A third added: «The fact that he videotaped it, he knew.»

Others defended the man, saying his actual reaction showed he didn’t know the statue was a person.

Shah Vlog has 28,800 subscribers on Youtube and almost 380,000 combined followers on Instagram and TikTok.
