Meeting at sunrise! Samantha Armytage joins Natalie Barr and Melissa Doyle at the Carla Zampatti show during Australian Fashion Week

Armytage, who co-hosted alongside David ‘Kochie’ Koch in 2013 before leaving in 2021, looked stylish in black trousers and a white printed shirt.

The 47-year-old completed her ensemble with black stilettos and a matching bag.

She was joined by Barr, who remains on the morning show with Matt Shirvington after taking over Koch’s duties in 2023.

The Sunrise presenter, 56, looked chic in a navy suit and matching colored sheer turtleneck.

She completed her look with a pair of black heels and carried a large black bag.

Barr was all smiles as she posed alongside The Morning Show host Kylie Gillies at the event, who looked stylish in a mini black dress with a large white flower.

Meanwhile, Melissa Doyle, who co-hosted the breakfast show from 2002 to 2013, looked elegant in a long black off-the-shoulder dress.

She was holding a black clip and wearing a pair of matching colored heels.

Doyle left her long blonde hair out and wore a natural make-up palette for the event.

The event comes after Armytage recently made a surprise return to Sunrise to discuss the new season of Farmer Wants A Wife after leaving the breakfast show three years ago.

After her guest appearance, there were rumors that her replacement Barr was «not comfortable» with Armytage returning to the program, after years of rumors that the pair did not see eye to eye.

«When Nat found out she was coming the week before, she just took it on the chin and like Nat does with everything, she decided to go pro,» the TV insider told Women’s Day.

«That said, you could tell from her body language that she was feeling a little tense,» the source added.

“Fortunately, Nat and Shirvo. (co-host Matt Shirvington) they’re so tight and Shirvo probably understood that Nat 100% didn’t like being on the same set as Sam and he was there to support her.»

Seven has since denied the allegations, saying the pair got on well and even had a «long catch-up» after Armytage’s interview about the reality show.

«A Seven spokesperson refutes any claims of tension between the pair,» a representative said.

“Natalie and Sam had a lengthy catch-up once Nat went off the air. They also offered each other support and kind words after the death of their colleague Nathan Templeton.”

However, viewers claimed to have sensed tension between the former colleagues during the rare performance.

«She looks so happy to be there…» one user sarcastically wrote of Armytage’s behavior on Australian TV forum Media Spy.
