Nadia Bartel shares her fears about aging as she prepares to turn 40: ‘It makes me feel miserable’

Nadia Bartel shared the fears she used to have about aging.

The fashion designer, who turns 40 next year, told this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine that she once felt 30 was ‘old’ but now sees aging as a blessing.

“The 1940s are honestly the new 1930s. «I feel like you have a whole new vibe — you’re not stressing about the things you used to stress about when you were 39,» the 39-year-old said.

“Looking back, when I was 30, I almost thought it was really old. I will be 40 next year! I don’t know if it’s because I’m in a different place energetically now, but I remember feeling so stressed back then.

Nadia added: “I remember feeling miserable about it. At 30, I thought I would have X, Y, and Z. And I felt a lot of pressure in my early 30s.

Nadia began her effective routine with pre-cleansed skin, first using Laroche Posay’s $69.95 Vitamin C Serum.

«It brightens my skin and promotes a radiant glow,» Nadia explained.

Forgoing even her basic moisturizer, the influencer squeezed out a $25 tinted BB cream with SPF 50+ from the same brand and spread it over her face with just her fingers.

«It offers natural-looking coverage with an easy-to-apply, non-greasy formula and provides very high broad-spectrum protection against harmful UV rays,» she said.

Promoting the sponsored brand, Nadia blended an unnamed nude eye shadow in a caramel shade into the crease of her lids before curling her lashes and touching her chubby pout with a wand.

«Now that I’m approaching 40, I feel like I’m in such a good place and I’m so happy with where I am,» added the designer

The designer also recently revealed her makeup routine, which she says is «all about shaping and highlighting.»

«I feel like I’ll always wear makeup like this moving forward and so many of you messaged me this morning after trying it out and I love it too,» she captioned the video on Instagram.

As Nadia contoured her face in the clip, she said: «It’s all about shaping the face and really highlighting everything.»

She explained that before applying her makeup, she would apply a dark contour and sweep over her lips to plump them up.

«I like to bronze them all first, then concealer,» she added, revealing she uses one from MAC.

The star completed the look with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.
