French actor Omar Sy, who has a Cesar Award – the French equivalent of an Oscar – for The Untouchables and several successful blockbusters, is a Cannes veteran.

The actor, with roles in X-Men: Days of Future Past and Jurassic World, starred in the 2022 Cannes Un Certain Regard opening film, Father & Soldier, and will now serve on the jury.
