Rachel Stevens gets booed by the audience during her Mighty Hoopla solo set

Rachel Stevens was accused of copycatting during her Mighty Hoopla solo set by festivalgoers who watched her perform on Sunday.

The S Club singer, 46, wowed fans at the Brockwell Park festival as she pranced around in a see-through black catsuit and belted out some of her hits.

Rachel performed her hits Sweet Dreams My LA Ex and Some Girls, but fans were convinced she wasn’t actually singing the words.

While she gave an amazing performance, fans thought it was too good to be true and accused her of lip syncing.

They wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Not one word was sung live over her pre-recorded vocals. She also kept forgetting to pick up the microphone during certain parts. I love Rachel, but if you’re going to pantomime, at least TRY. Or… just sing. nobody’s waiting for Whitney and we were all mad anyway’;
