Real Madrid ‘to announce Kylian Mbappe TODAY’ – French superstar set to ‘sign five-year deal’ after PSG exit

Kylian Mbappe will reportedly be announced as a Real Madrid player on Monday, with the French superstar set to sign a five-year deal with the Spanish giants.

Mbappe, 25, told PSG back in February that he would leave the club when his contract expires this summer.

The forward has long been linked with a move to Real and almost joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2022 before turning around late and signing a new deal with the Ligue 1 side.

However, according to L’Equipe, he will eventually make the move, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side poised to announce Mbappe’s arrival sometime today.

It comes after Fabrizio Romano announced on Sunday that Mbappe had signed a five-year contract with Real for the forward.

Romano’s claim on Sunday comes after L’Equipe also reported on Friday that Mbappe would be unveiled as Real’s new signing on Monday, less than 48 hours after their Champions League final triumph over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

Meanwhile, during training with France on Thursday, Mbappe met fans and even signed a Real shirt for one lucky person, a clear sign that the deal will be completed soon.

It was also announced last week that the relationship between PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi and outgoing Mbappe remains strong, despite claims a rift has emerged over the terms of his free agent exit.

Both the club and the player have previously said there is a deal in place that respects PSG’s huge investment in Mbappe’s development as a player since his £166m move from Monaco in 2017.
