The EastEnders actor, 59, took to social media to share a clip of himself shouting with joy about the Three Lions’ win against the Netherlands on Wednesday.

Of Ollie Watkins’ 90th-minute goal, Ross shouted into the camera: “Oh, Ollie Watkins, you’ve done it. We knew these changes would work. Gareth Southgate, genius, genius, genius.

“Ollie Watkins, we love you! WE LOVE YOU! We’re in the finals if we don’t screw it up… but WE’RE IN THE FINALS.»

Ross’ clip came just days after he shared a similar one as England beat Switzerland in Sunday’s quarter-final – which also got fans laughing.

Ross sent fans into hysterics again with his reaction to England’s Euros win against Switzerland on penalties on Sunday.
