Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus (24) has a stroke

Cori Broadus, the 24-year-old daughter of rapper Snoop Dogg, revealed that she suffered a stroke on Thursday.

«I had a severe stroke this one,» Broadus wrote Instagram story. “I started crying when they told me.

In another story, she added: «Like I’m only 24 years old, what have I done to deserve all this in the past.»

Broadus, the youngest of the famous rapper’s four children, did not reveal what doctors told her about the cause of the stroke.

According to Mayo Clinic, there are two types of stroke: ischemic and hemorrhagic. The first occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is blocked or reduced. The latter occurs when a blood vessel in the brain leaks or bursts, causing bleeding in the brain.

It is unclear what type of stroke Broadus suffered.

Reps for Snoop Dogg did not immediately respond to The Times’ request for comment Thursday.

In 2010, Snoop Dogg shared that Broadus — whose mother is longtime wife of «Gin and Juice» rapper Shante Broadus — was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease lupus when she was 6 years old.

«He’s the toughest little thing I’ve ever met,» said the famous Long Beach emcee People. «She’s in an honorable place, playing volleyball and softball, living the life.» He has all this joy. In the beginning, lupus was winning. But now it’s Cori.»

Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can cause inflammation in many different body systems – including the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs. Mayo Clinic.

However, Broadus did not link his stroke to the lupus diagnosis.

“I stopped taking all medications five months ago. I just do everything natural, all kinds of herbs, seaweed, teas,” Broadus said of her health regimen. “I started exercising and drinking a lot of water. So now I think my body is like, OK, this is a new program and she’s getting used to it.»

She added that there are still days when she is sick, but she feels «blessed and able» to do what she loves to do and tell her story.

“But then there are days when I’m like, ‘Wow, I wish I wasn’t sick. What would my life be like if I was just a normal girl?’” she said. “It’s part of being human. You will have bad days, you will not always have good days.’
