Triple J’s annual countdown of the 100 hottest shows will air on Saturday and is tipped to have some shocking entries for music lovers.

Australian pop star Troye Sivan, 28, is tipped to win the countdown with his home tune Rush, according to prediction website 100 Warm Tunas.

Other notable Australian artists expected to make the chart include Melbourne rocker G Flip, 30, and a surprise entry from Kylie Minogue with her hit Padam Padam.

Meanwhile, a number of popular international singers also rank in the top spots, including American singer Billie Eilish (22).

ABC reports a staggering 52 charting songs from Australian acts and 34 new artists making their countdown debuts this year.

The annual Triple J Hottest 100 countdown will air on Saturday and is tipped to have some shocking entries for music lovers.

Listeners can tune into the Hottest 100 in full on Saturday from 12pm on Triple J.

Previous Australian artists topping the countdown include Powderfinger, Angus and Julia Stone, Flume, The Whitlams and a shock win from The Wiggles in 2021.

International artists topping the charts include Nirvana, The Offspring and Oasis.

The Hottest 100 countdown is one of the biggest music events on the Australian calendar, hosted by Triple J since 1989.

Every year, Aussies vote for their ten favorite songs from the previous year with the top 100 songs the broadcaster broadcasts.

Voting for the Hottest 100 Countdown closed on January 22, 2024.

Aussie DJ Flume interrupted the countdown to 2023 last year with his hit ‘Say Nothing’.

Listeners can tune in to the Hottest 100 in full on Saturday from 12pm on Triple J
