Tottenham fans are celebrating «incredible» Pedro Porro after his «insane» 25-yard wonder goal against Burnley as the Spanish right-back is being compared to the legendary Brazilian defender following his FA Cup heroics.

Tottenham fans took to social media to welcome Pedro Porro’s stunning opener against Burnley in Friday’s FA Cup tie.

With the tie seemingly headed for a replay, the Spanish right-back let fly from around 25 yards with a dipping, deflected effort that flew into the top left corner to give the hosts the lead.

It proved to be the only goal of the game – Burnley goalkeeper Arijanet Muric went close to a surprise equalizer in extra time – and Ange Postecoglou’s side ensured they were in the hat for the fourth round.

Such a strike certainly resonated with the fans and Spurs supporters were quick to take to social media to praise the special goal.

One fan suggested the player should be considered one of the best in the world in his position and even claimed he was a leader in the dressing room.
